About us
Welcome to our pages!
The key teaching and research area of the department is transport infrastructure, with special emphasis on links to the urban environment. Courses are provided for BSc, MSc and PhD students mostly in Civil Engineering, but some courses subjects are taught to students in other programs (e.g. in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Engineering). Besides teaching and research, the department is actively involved in planning, design and consultancy on the above fields. We have extensive links to companies and other organisations in the civil engineering sector, especially in the area of roads, railways and local governments.
